Happy Monday All!

So its been about two months now since I got my new car and I haven't really talked that much about it. (Other than to say that I got it!)

Needless to say I've definitely settled into my new mom car. The strange thing is that over the past couple of weeks I've come to realize that this new car has a different feel to it than my last car.

My last car was a bright yellow Mustang with twin racing stripes. It was all race car and I drove it like was a race car. My new car is a white Tiguan. Its a midsize suv and I've sort of felt like a suv driver driving it. (I mean I still kind of drive it like my mustang, but I think that habit is slowly starting to fade).

However Hurricane Irma left a couple decent size puddles on my route to work. Normally if I was driving my mustang, I would have avoided the puddles. In my Tiguan, I find myself wanting to drive through the puddles fast and I love how much the water splashes up on my windshield. It's definitely a feeling I wasn't expecting.

The problem is that I just don't know how fast I can go before I end up flooding my engine. So I often err on the caution and swerve the mostly out of the puddle or slow down so I don't create that big of a splash.

Either which way, I'm really enjoying this new car and all the new adventures it brings me!
