Installing a Zipper
This past year, I've tried out many projects and learned many new things. Overall it has turned me into a better crafter. This, though, is perhaps the one thing I've tried over and over again all year long (and I've gotten a better at it, but I'm still not perfect at it yet.)

The number one thing I learned about installing zippers is that I really hate installing zippers. This is because the hardest part of installing a zipper is keeping my stitches straight. (This is also what I really need to work on for 2018!)
Other than that one zipper provides plenty of practice in itself because to properly install a zipper you have to sew four different pieces of fabric onto it.
So while I may not be great at it yet, I do have some new projects coming up that I get more zippers to practice with.
