Monday Free Write

Hello All!

Its been a very difficult month for me. There was just something about switching jobs and having money get really tight (and then getting a vicious cold on top of it!) that just kind of sucked all of my inspiration and energy out of me. Perhaps it was a moment of depression? It probably was, I'm not a psychiatrist, so I can't be sure, but that's my best guess.

And as scary as that is to admit to myself (and to you), I just keep reminding myself, that's its okay. Depression spells come and go. Its just a part of life and something that I have to deal with. (And as long as they don't get too bad, I should be all right. And if they do get out of control, then I hope I have the strength to get help!)

So the good thing is that I'm slowly working my out of that depression. (Funk, I like to call it. Or my fallow state, as they called it in The Year of the Flood.) I'm not sure if its that I'm starting to get into a rhythm with my new job or that fact that my tax money should be here shortly. But either way, this past week, I finally felt like crafting again! I've also started looking for new things to try!

And more than that, I finally got around to washing the dishes again! This might seem minor, but I know its been stressing Mike out having to take care of the entire household for the past month. So it feels good to help him out. And I also did my laundry, folded it and put it away!

And most importantly, I've also started working on this blog again! I've done a little touch up work. I'm still trying to figure out how I want the header to look. So instead I've started importing old posts again. This is a lot more tedious and time consuming than I realized, but something I know I need to do. So I'm doing my best to push on.

So hopefully by this time next week. I'll have a couple more posts up and be well on my way to getting back to the blog full time again!
