Monday Free Write

Happy Monday Everyone!

I think it's been about two weeks since the last time I wrote in here and well it certainly was an interesting two weeks around here. First of all I got a fancy new laptop! So not only do I have all of my keys, but Lion can't pop off anymore letter keys! (By the end of my last laptop was missing the c key, the shift and caps locked keys. And he jammed my space bar. So needless to say typing on that was terrible.) It may be fancier than I originally wanted, but I found a refurbished one on Amazon so I feel like it was worth it! (Now I just have to get the blog in order, so I really feel like it was worth it!)

Also we survived our first vacation as a family! We haven't really had the time (or money) to take a trip, so despite my brother's poor timing for a wedding (on the weekend before my 30th birthday!), it was nice to get away. And Blue really enjoyed eating breakfast in the hotel!

Here we are at our first of three breakfasts that day. (I joked he was turning into a hobbit!) Mike watched Lion, so we just brought them food back after one of our trips!

And yes Blue survived his walk down the aisle (as the ring bearer. I did have to walk with him, but he survived and a good time was had by all!

(I did my best to dress these two alike! And if Mike was still wearing his tie, it would looked better!)

And most importantly, I turned 30!

I celebrated with some birthday cake pancakes! Blue naturally helped me with the candles.

So it was definitely a fun two weeks, but it feels good, it feels right, to be back to blogging.

(And I snuck in some craft time over the past couple of weeks that I'm excited to start sharing with you!)
