H is for Horse
so for a while now I've been planning an H is for Horse page. However I just couldn't figure out the logistics in my head. All I could think of was just cutting out a felt horse and making a tail out of yarn. And I guess there's noting wrong with that, but I just wanted something a little more for my horse page.
So I did what I always do I turned to Pinterest and after a quick search for activity book horse pages, I found the perfect page to recreate for my activity book.

Step 1: Creating The Horse
By now its no secret that I am no artist. So to create my horse head I did a search on Pinterest for coloring page horses. After scrolling down for what seemed like forever, I was able to find a coloring page with just the horse head.

Now that I had my perfect horse head, I created a chocolate brown horse with a light brown mane and a green eye. I glued my felt horse pieces together and let them sit overnight. Once I was satisfied they were properly stuck together, I pinned it onto my background felt piece.
Step 2: Add the Bells and Whistles
Normally I like to add my own special touch to the page, but I really liked my inspiration page so much, that I just copied the buckle and carabiner placement.
Once I liked where everything was placed, I carefully used my sewing machine to sew around the horse head. When it came to sewing down where the ribbon is, I unbuckled everything and sewed the end of the ribbon under the horse head.
Step 3: Finishing Touches
To finish my page, I sewed down a letter 'H' in the bottom left corner and back stitched 'is for Horse' next to it.
Here's how it turned out:
