Monday Free Write

Happy Monday All!

So I missed last week's free write, but I do have a very good excuse! I spent most of the day at a car dealer getting a new car! It wasn't really planned either, but my dad was in town and he knew how bad my old car was running. So he said he would help me out with getting car and so rish rush rush later, I'm the proud owner of a Volkswagen Tiguan. Its quite a change from my Mustang, but I'm quickly adapting to it. And I feel like its the perfect car for this phase of life that I'm in.

And as much I would like to talk more about my new "mom" car, Blue also started preschool today.

Its definitely an exciting time in our house. My little baby is no longer a baby and he's no longer at home with me, driving me crazy every 10 seconds. And I'm going to miss that, even if it truly does drive me crazy.

All of this is making my depression is starting to rear its ugly head again. Mike helped today by keeping me out of the house while Blue was in school. (Luckily he's only going part time for this year. So I only have to miss him for a couple hours a day.) And it definitely helped... for the daytime.

But right now, all the boys are sleeping and truthfully, I just feel awful right now. All I want to do is sleep, but I know the second I try to sleep, I'll be wide awake again.

I know its not going to last forever and eventually it won't affect me like this.

So for right now I'm doing my best to distract myself. I thought it would help if I wrote out everything I want to get done before I go to sleep tonight, which really is a bunch of easy tasks and I just have no urge to do any of it. This utterly sucks.

And I can't wait for it pass again.

Until then, I'm just going to force myself to get through my to do list.
