Monday Free Write
Happy Solar Eclipse Monday!
How lucky is it that the solar eclipse fell on a Monday? It would be perfect timing for a free write if I cared more about solar eclipses. I don't. I get that its impressive. And that the last one that fell over North America was 38 years ago (and Mike was just a little baby... younger than Lion!), but the next one is only seven years away. And even then Orlando isn't in the path until 2045.
And naturally even if I wanted to watch it, we had a rain storm right when it was happening. So the little I did watch was on Nasa TV.
And then Lion woke from his nap. (I didn't even get to enjoy my hot chocolate!)
So in other words I hope you enjoyed the solar eclipse! (And maybe I'll care more about the next one!)
