Bullet Coffee Tablets
I've been drinking bulletproof coffee for a while now (6 or 8 months now, I suppose) and for most of that time I've been content to cut a tablespoon of butter and spoon out a tablespoon of coconut oil to make my coffee. That is until I stumbled across this tip from One Good Thing by Jillee about making coconut oil tablets for oil pulling. While I haven't quite made it oil pulling yet, I thought this was a great tip to speed up my bulletproof coffee instead.
The Tip
Make Butter and Coconut Oil Tabs

I think the most frustrating part of this tip is that ice cube trays don't tell you the volume each ice cube holds. So I just bought a silicone ice cube tray and hoped it would work. I, then, used a teaspoon to measure the volume. Each cube held 2 teaspoons. And since there's 3 teaspoons in every tablespoon and I like 1 tablespoon of butter and coconut oil in my coffee, I would have to make full cubes and half cubes to get the right amount. That seemed a little excessive to me, so I juts decided to up my butter and coconut oil to 1 1/3 tablespoon each.
Once I had that figured out it was smooth sailing. I simply cut my butter in half, melted in the microwave, carefully poured it into the ice cube tray, let it set and put it into a storage container. And then repeated the process with coconut oil.
And since I live in Florida, I like to keep my bulletproof coffee tablets in the fridge so they don't melt together.
The best part is now all I have to do is grab a couple tabs of each,
Throw them in the blender with my coffee and some spices.
And my bulletproof coffee is ready to drink.
So easy, especially on mornings when I'm half asleep! (Like this one!)
