The Easy Way to Store Interfacing

All year I've been trying to reorganize my desk and most of it has been a total failure. I swear the more stuff I move around the more stuff that ends up on top of my desk. While the top of my desk is a wreck, I found this really nifty trick to help organize my fabric... more specifically my interfacing storage.

The Tip

How to properly store Interfacing

Supplies Needed

  • Interfacing and Stabilizer Stash

  • PVC Pipes

  • A Mike to Cut Them (or I think Lowe's will help you with that, too!)

Results

So i didn't have any leftover wrapping paper tubes, so instead I used a couple of left over pvc pipes. I had Mike time them down into 18 inch segments.

And as you can see I I wrapped my interfacing, batting and spare plastic around the pipes. And so far so good, everything is kept in neat and orderly fashion!

And as an added bonus it is now super easy to measure and cut interfacing as I need it

Now I just need to work on the rest of my desk... or desk top, rather!
